Hi, I'm Ramey Channell, new to the Chalet family. I'm so excited to have a new book coming out later this spring, a novel set in 1950s Alabama. ReplyDeleteI'm a career librarian also. I've worked for the US Governmente (US EPA), Oregon State University and US Government contractors in suburban Maryland. I've never done the public library thing, though. You must have some fascinating stories to tell!
My first job out of grad school was as a bookmobile librarian for the State Library of Ohio. We went to 7 rural counties around Columbus.
